DESIGN PROCESS

A major challenge was finding a form and mechanism that would allow the user to brush and floss simultaneously.
Additionally, the mouth is a highly sensitive area, so aesthetic played a huge role as well. I needed to find a form that looked like it would not hurt when used.

Including a way to rinse with mouthwash after brushing was important. It would truly provide the user with a wholesome experience with one product.
I explored how the forms of the mouthwash and water tanks could mimic the form of the toothbrush to create unity in brand language.

Lastly, foam models were created to finalize the proportions and dimensions needed for the toothbrush and tank system.
Interaction points on the toothbrush were placed on the model to find out which types of buttons and textures the user might need.
